To the Lighthouse is a slim (74pp) casebound volume of 31 photographs recording a prolonged period of spring sunshine along the Swansea coastline at a time when it was strangely devoid of people. All of the photos were taken on an Apple iPhone 11 and edited using the free app Snapseed. The ‘lighthouse project followed a strict set of self-imposed rules:
RULE ONE The only camera allowed was my iPhone 11 smartphone
RULE TWO The only editing allowed was via the free Snapseed phone app
RULE THREE Daily expeditions to be by bicycle to Mumbles Lighthouse
RULE FOUR One composition only per cycling trip. Cycle must appear in shot
RULE FIVE Expeditions must conform to lockdown guidelines and legislation
